INTENTION ARCHITECTURE DESIGN REVIEW - APRIL 2018 SMITH + EGLI MOUNTAIN CABIN RE-BIRTH NEIGHBORHOOD CONTEXT Homes in the immediate vicinity of the property display a large diversity of architectural styles. Roof forms include mansard, faux mansard, single pitched, gable, and ®at. Siding materials include wood, brick, stucco, and just down the street, metal panels, log, faux timber, clapoard and vertical wood. While not attempting to match any of the neighbors exactly, the siding and roof forms for this proposed cabin are consistent with the overall context of Vail’s alpine environment as well as its immediate neighborhood.
