Harry will provide 3-week schedules for review/discussion at subsequent meetings. Romeo will provide and maintain submittal log. Jeff will add Leonard to future progress meeting invites. Jeff will set up materials testing. Romeo to notify Peak about minor design changes for re-staking. APPROVAL OF PREVIOUS MINUTES: Final Preconstruction Meeting Minutes sent out. RB Observation Report from 5/17 site visit. 3. CONTRACTOR'S SCHEDULE STATUS REPORT 3a. DETAILED DISCUSSION OF THE PRESENT WEEK CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE Intermountain asphalt cut today Will cut HCE asphalt tomorrow, need to verify extent at west end. East end is dependent on retaining wall. Possible pohtholing to verify geogrid. Conventionally excavate test pit to 4’ depth. Will pothole two locations to determine geogrid location Asphalt removal today, excavate for MH0475 PR tomorrow. Need 5-10’ of pipe with bell. Cast in place concrete base and reinforcement discussed with Jesus. Rebar to be bent on site. Flow fill 8am Tuesday morning, 5’ of flowfill. Install first barrel section and start backfilling Tuesday. Material appears to be suitable, screen out > 4”. Traffic control for the weekend – flaggers during the day, shorten closure at night. Manholes to be delivered Thursday. Pipe is coming from Nevada. 3b. REVIEW AND DISCUSSION OF THE CURRENT 3-WEEK LOOK AHEAD SCHEDULE Pipe and manholes as production allows. Harry will bring 3 week schedules Talked about backfilling MH475 area and narrowing the barricaded area, Harry agreed that we could do that once road base is completed. Current approximate 1200’ length. Haul from JP Trucking yard in Wolcott primarily, Plan B is Western Slope aggregate in Silt. Potential for structural material needed at Hospital and Lionshead Parking Structure. 4. SUBMITTALS/SHOP DRAWING STATUS REPORT Asphalt, concrete complete yesterday Pipes/MHs yesterday Romeo will provide/maintain submittal log 5. MATERIALS TESTING Proposed off site import proctor – import seems acceptable, provided that rocks > 4” are screened/crushed On site proctor – Thursday Concrete Testing – Friday – Class D, 8 cy of mix. Jeff will set up testing. Next week? - Plan on Tuesday next week compaction testing of import material. 6. CHANGES IN THE WORK Redesign based on potholing 24” SS conflict at approx. 5+51. Lower inverts in MH 0700 to 83.55 in and 83.35 out. Romeo notify Peak, no change in rim elevation grade. West Gore Creek Dr. proposed 8” sewer should cross above existing 8” water. Raise MH 0435 invert 1.05’ to 7925.55 (pipe slope change from 3.4% to 2.5%) Conoco area – possibly omit MH 0495, cast in place at 2+00. Eliminate bypass pumping. Identify/pothole existing 12” DIP sewer going north out of MH 0520. HCE trench location/retaining wall conflict Other issues? – asphalt thickness considerably higher than plan, asphalt replacement quantity stays the same. Relocate HCE vault at approx. 10+54 Discussed asphalt replacement. Possibly reduce limits to exclude north lane line. Mill and overlay out of wheel path. Comcast may add conduit to trench. Unclassified Excavation load counts for end dump and tandem. 1.8 tons/CY assumed. Import Suitable material per ton. Need weight tickets, will only be for Class 6, will not have weight tickets for other class 2 material. 7. AS-BUILTS STATUS Surveyed as-builts required per specs 8. PAY REQUESTS Assume one pay request per month, Engineer has 10 days to review, Owner has 10 days to pay. Refer to General Conditions Section 15.01. 5% retainage withheld on all pay applications. 9. OLD BUSINESS Manhole Coatings – 475 lined in situ, other MHs lined in GJ. Jeff S. to circle back with Jake on painting. Consider quicker curing alternative. Action items from Preconstruction Meeting: Jeff S. to set up recurring bi-weekly construction progress meetings at ERWSD offices - COMPLETE Harry B. to set up construction water with ERWSD customer service – COMPLETE Jeff S. set up all testing with Lena at HP Kumar – COMPLETE; ONGOING Jeff S. arrange to locate Conoco service from cleanouts - OUTSTANDING Chad S. will look at overnight traffic counts on Frontage Rd - COMPLETE Jeff S. talk to Leonard about emergency services coordination - COMPLETE Jeff S. coordinate with ECO Transit - OUTSTANDING Romeo B. to complete submittal reviews –COMPLETE Jeff S. follow up with Flowfill testing requirements – COMPLETE, NO TESTING REQUIRED 10. NEW BUSINESS Memorial Day Weekend – will shorten lane closure length, flaggers during the day, lights at night. Rebar at MH 0475 – jeff talked to Jesus today, some details in pipe penetrations to work out. Pipeline/MH testing – will be Manhole to Manhole. Jesus will work with Jeff directly, jeff to involve ERWSD field inspectors. JS schedule next week. RB to coordinate with District field personnel for observation, daily logs, and reports. 11. SAFETY ERWSD Safety Coordinator, Dan. Traffic Control Trench shoring/access 12. OTHER BUSINESS Casa staging – not for now. RB coordinating with Western Pipeway and Holmes Murphy. ERWSD staging – keep what is coned off. Gore Valley Trail open this weekend with roadbase surface. Gregg Barrie and Elam anticipating paving next week.
