Greetings Business Community,
The Town of Vail is excited to be hosting the 2018 Annual CML Conference Tuesday, June 19 th
through Friday, June 22 nd .
This conference will bring as many as 500 government officials and family members to the Vail area.
Mayors, council members, attorneys, clerks, and finance directors from throughout the State of
Colorado will be on hand to take part in the conference and enjoy our spectacular resort.
Staff is busy planning a variety of activities designed to showcase our beautiful mountain region.
CML Participants will be lodged primarily at the Marriott, Antlers and the Arrabelle in Lionshead. In
the past, the town has contacted local businesses to see if they would be interested in offering a
discount for CML members to use at their establishments. Participating businesses will be featured
on a flier (see sample flier from last conference) that will be distributed to all attendees during the
registration process. A CML logo will be placed visibly in your store front so that attendees know
that this particular business is offering a discount. In 2016 the majority of businesses offered a 10
percent discount on food, beverages or merchandise.

program.
