SCOPE OF WORK…
1. Perform tear-off old shakes and dispose 100% of all debris.
2. Provide and install WIP 300 Ice & Water Shield to all designated sloped roof
areas. At roof to wall junctions waterproofing membrane to run up wall a
minimum of 18”, where possible. And over the ice & water shield will install
VersaShield underlayment to make the roof a class A fire rated.
3. Provide and install Painted metal flashings to all; eaves, pitched rakes,
valleys, headwalls, sidewalls, pitch breaks & crickets.
4. Provide and install Davinci Shake Multi-Width to all designated roof areas.
5. Provide and install Painted Standing Seam metal to all designated roof areas.
6. Provide and install Roll Vent to designated ridges areas.
TOTAL CONTRACT PRICE FOR ALL ABOVE WORK / BASE BID = $19,800.00
Options
1. To fabricate and install painted Gutters and Downspouts on designated areas,

1- Building permit fees will be pay by the owner.
2- If we need to remove siding for dry-in and flashing installation the repair of that will be
done by others or Rocky Valley Contractors can do it for a time and material basis.
3- We don't know the conditions of the plywood until we do the tear off. If plywood need to
be replace will be done on a time and materials basis.
4- If we need to remove gutters and down spouts for tear off proposes the installation of
those will be done on a time and material basis.
5- Any additional work will be charge on a time and material basis at $59 per hr.

CONDITIONS:
1) MATERIALS: Please be advised that materials for this proposal have been bid at current market prices
and cannot be guaranteed past 30 days. Rocky Valley Contractors reserves the right to increase the
proposal amount to meet the increase in material cost. Any extra material not indicated in proposal will
be charged as an extra.
2) REROOF: Rocky Valley Contractors will provide and install materials indicated by homeowner, any change
orders will be charged accordingly. If Rocky Valley Contractors has to take off gutters or heat tape to
prevent damages, it will be charge on T&M (time and material basis at $59.00/hr.).
3) PAYMENTS: Payments are due upon receipt of invoice. Rocky Valley Contractors will request a material
deposit before we start the project. Any invoices over 30 days old are subject to interest charge of 3%
per month. PROPERTY SUBJECT TO HAVE A LIEN FILED IF NOT PAID WITH IN 120 DAYS FROM LAST DAY
WORKED AT JOB SITE.
4) WINTER CONDITIONS CLAUSE: Any work performed from NOVEMBER 1, THRU APRIL 30, will be
subject to a winterization charge (not to exceed 10% of contract price). Contract does not include ice
and snow removal, or application of plastic on roof deck, and will be billed on a T & M basis. Priming of
ice & water shield will be required and will be charged @ $.20 PER SQ FT.
5) INSURANCE: Rocky Valley Contractors is fully insured with liability insurance in the amount of
$2,000,000 and workman's compensation. Certificates of insurance will be forwarded to client upon
acceptance of proposal.
6) ATTORNEY'S FEES: Should either party be required to retain an attorney or attorney's to enforce the
provisions of this agreement, whether or not litigation is actually required, the non-breaching party shall
be entitled to recover from the party breaching this agreement those reasonable attorney's fees incurred
as a result of such breach. If judgment is against Rocky Valley Contractors, the sum cannot exceed the
contract price.
7) WARRANTY: Rocky Valley Contractors will warranty all labor against leaks for a period of 2 YEARS.
Warranty is void if snow exceeds 24" and is not removed. Snow removal performed by anyone other
than Rocky Valley Contractors or other local properly insured contractor will void warranty. Proof of
general liability insurance must be forwarded to Rocky Valley Contractors PRIOR to commencement of
snow removal. Broken tile is not included in scope of warranty. Any work or alteration on roof (snow
fence, snow clips etc...) done by others will void Warranty as well.
8) NOTICE TO PROCEED: Once work is started this proposal becomes the primary contract is not over
ruled by any other contract, whether it is signed or not. Any delays caused because of non-preparation
on the part of the client or his/her Hired tradesman or subcontractors will validate a charge by Rocky
Valley Contractors to the client for any lost time and/or materials.
