A recent real estate sale home inspection indicated the presence of microbial contamination within the ceiling
cavities on the complete upper floor of the residence.
Disaster Restoration Services has been contracted to removed the affected materials in order to properly
mitigate and decontaminate the ceiling cavity and affected attic walls.
SRE Building Associates has been contracted to restore the property to a habitable condition.
A R-67 blown in blanket fiberglass system will be installed to the 16” TJI exterior ceiling with Membrain Smart
Vapor Barrier.
R-21 unfaced fiberglass batts will be installed to the 2x6 exterior walls with Membrain Smart Vapor Barrier at
attic walls requiring mitigation.
5/8” type X gypsum drywall will be installed to replace existing as required.
SRE Building Associates will have the TOV complete insulation and final building inspections as a drywall screw
inspection shall not be required being that the fire rated assemblies are not being impacted.
Please also call for drywall screw inspection.
Provide smoke and carbon monoxide detectors throughout existing home .
