RE: DRB 18-0181 1965 Sunburst Drive—Change to Approved Plans- Narrative
Dear board members,
We are asking to modify the master bedroom east facing windows as shown on the revised 1/A4.1 drawing.
Afterdemolition we discovered thattheexistingcenterpost,whichwe assumed was structuraWas in fact not. A
bent header covers the ent ire opening. Because of the great views of the gore range across the golf course we
propose to make the center window unobstructed,but proport ionallyvery similar to the lower east facing windows in
the great room.
The client would also like blackout shades in the master bedroom, so we propose to eliminate th e trapezoid windows
toeither side of the new cent erwindow.
Finally,the existing drawings show thesill for the new windows to be below the top surf ace of the new front porch
roof,so we raised the sill to provide clearance for proper waterproofing.
