East Vail John: June 9. 2018 I visited your house, with you and your contractor on Wednesday, June 61hto consult and recommend deck repairs for the deck of your home. It was decided to remove and repair the common deck area damage and replace with the same construction as built. I inspected the deck repair on Saturday. June gm, The contractor has replaced the rotted post with (4): 2xl0 treaded, as built, and added a 2xl 0 to the damaged Tn deck joist. He also added two 2x10 under the new 2x8 partition wall (The previous partition wall was merely sitting on the decking with no support from below. The area is structurally sound and ready for waterproofing and stucco.
