Handrail elevations & details have been revised to correct the extensions. We
agreed that the bottom of the handrail extension at the west wall of the large
stair will be continuous for 12 from the last tread, but will turn the comer and
remain continuous for an additional 12" for a total of 24" inches. This occurs
only on one side of this stair.

All egress doors are 36 wide existing and will remain as is. The lower level

openings into the 4 6 wide existing toilet rooms would create undue expense
with little benefit on, this non-accessible level. The main level, handicap
accessible toilet room door is 36" and will be replaced with the same size door.

An accessible route via an elevator cannot be provided to the lower level dining
area without exceeding 20% of the current construction cost of the project. A
stair type left cannot be installed as it would impede on the clearance required
for egress from the lower level and the walls of the building cannot be enlarged
due to the fact that they are currently on the property line.
The main level dining area serves all the same food/drink and functions as the
lower level dining areas and is accessible from Wall Street through the patio.
New signage and a new accessible door sill will be installed as per the new sheet
A2.03.
There is an existing accessible toilet room on the main level. New signage and a
new mirror will be installed for this room.
Door hardware will be replaced on the toilet room door. The existing entry door
is left unlocked during business hours and has an existing graspable pull on the
exterior.

was not correct. I incorrectly typed 10" mtl studs.
The system that is installed consists of:

3-5/8", 20 ga. Mtl. Studs @ 48" o.c.
Held by wire hangars @ 24" o.c.
As the architect of record, I approve the above framing system and it has
been sheathed with'/z" type "C" gypsum board.
