Placement Location: Shoring wall embankment from Sta 0+80 to 2+00
Summary of Results: While on site to inspect the base of excavation for the soil nail shoring wall we observed significant pumping beneath the weight
of the haul trucks delivering embankment fill. The material at the base of excavation appeared to be overly saturated and a
stable platform was not achieved. The areas of concern were approximately from Sta 0+80 to 2+00. Haselden and Heyl were
immediately notified of the issue and we recommended the that no embankment fill be placed until a stable platform is achieved
at the base of excavation. Another proof roll should be scheduled at a later date.
