Placement Location: Soil nail wall fill
Summary of Results: While on site we observed Heyl utilize an excavator,front end loader,smooth drum roller,and a water truck place and
compacted imported pit run from Sta 2+20 to 2+90.
Since the native material contains greater than 30%rock retained on the 3/4"sieve,according to ASTM D698/1557,nuclear
moisture-density testing should not be used for acceptance testing. Upon visual observation,the material appeared moist,
dense,and generally unyielding beneath the weight of the compacting equipment.
