Services Performed: Visual Observation
Placement Location: Parking garage west access road
Summary of Results: While onsite we observed Heyl utilizing an excavator,smooth drum roller,and loader to place and compact native material as
subgrade fill for Centerline Drive from Sta 3+20 to 3+90 at an approximate elevation of 8208'. Since the material used contains
greater than 30%rock retained on the 3/4"sieve,according to ASTM D698/1557,nuclear moisture-density testing should not be
used for acceptance testing. Upon visual observation,the material appeared moist,dense,and generally unyielding beneath
the weight of the compacting equipment.
