Placement Location: 10"Water Main:Sta 0+70 to 1+40
Summary of Results: While on site we observed Heyl utilizing an excavator, loader, smooth drum roller,and walk behind compactor to place and
compact native fill material for the 10"Water Main and access road.Since the material used contains greater than 30%Rock
retained on the 3/4"sieve,according to ASTM D698/1557,nuclear moisture-density testing should not be used for acceptance
testing. Upon visual observation,the material appeared moist,dense,and generally unyielding beneath the weight of the
compacting equipment.
