RE: Welaj Residence Remodel
Dear Mr. Welaj:
Regarding the steel beam fabrication for the subject remodel project please note the following;
1. Welding as required for %" x 4" connection plates and 3/8" stiffener plates and as
specified on detail 6/S5.2 shall be performed by American Welding Society Certified
Welders.
2. Special inspection requirements as specified by International Building Code 2015 Section
1705 may be waived provided that welding complies with note 1 above.
