This 2-family dwelling building is on a single property and therefore has a single owner. Because of this the Town of Vail is allowing an opening in the basement wall that separates the"secondary" unit from the multi-level main dwelling, IF the door opening is protected in accordance with IBC 716. No or non-approved sprinkler system (S.S.) —> 1-hr wall —> 45 min. door S.S. is approved —> 30-min wall —> 20-min door 3) Interconnected, battery backed-up smoke detection system for whole building. See page E1.02, FACP, circuit BL-43. 4) Dwelling/garage separation. 5) Elevator inspection(s). System should be reviewed, inspected, and approved by local AHJ or state AHJ (Div. of Oil& Public Safety, Colorado Dept. of Labor& Employment). 6) Check supply and return connections for factory installed hydronic under floor hydronic radiant heat system. Pressure test system after connections are made. (Warmboard system) Site Address: The local building department by signing this form takes responsibility for inspecting the site built construction stated above to approved plans and current codes. Normal permits and fees for these inspections are to be per the local jurisdiction.
