Michael Millar is the owner of the B side of the duplex. I provide this letter as written approval that I have discussed the proposed improvements with Michael Millar, I have reviewed the narrative letter and the plans submitted by Michael Millar, owner of the B duplex of 2199-B St. Moritz, Vail, Colorado. The plan is to build a rock wall on the southwest border of the property. The lower rock wall will be approximately 100 feet long; the upper rock wall approximately 50 feet long. The purpose of the rock wall is to facilitate snow removal from our property. Currently there is no snow removal storage area for our duplex. To build the lower and upper rock wall on the southwest corner of the property will require the removal of an aspen tree. Michael Millar has provided photographs of the property as well as photogra,Dhs of the rocks which will be utilized to build the rock walls. Millar To Whom It May Concern, I am building a retaining wall not exceeding four feet tall along the southwest border of my property. The rock wall will be made out of boulders. I have provided example photographs of the boulders, which will be utilized to build both the upper and lower wall. The upper wall will be 5 feet back from the bottom wall. The bottom wall will be approximately 110 feet long. The upper wall will be approximately 50 feet long. The bottom wall will be four feet or less in height. The upper wall will be between three and four feet in height with a five-foot offset. There will be a path along the east border of the lower rock wall. The primary purpose of the rock wall is just to create snow removal points for the driveway including moving the snow southwest off the driveway. Currently there is no storage areas for the duplex at 2199 St. Moritz. To build the lower rock wall will require the removal of one aspen tree. The project is being done by Carlos Reyes, Reyes General Construction. Prior to initiating the wall project, an 811 locate was performed and there were no utilities that would be impacted by the wall. cyFMichat. er.
