To Whom It May Concern:
As part of our business plan for our new location at 2109 N Frontage Road, we will not
be performing any dental nor medical procedures that would ever render more than 3
care recipients incapable of self-preservation at any given time.
We are a general dentistry business, our level of sedation provided is for patient
comfort only and will be administered via IV sedation and/or a mobile medical gas cart.
We would never have more than one patient under sedation at any given time, and the
level of sedation would be no deeper than “Moderate” which leaves the patient capable
of self-preservation in the event of an emergency. The American Dental Association
defines Moderate Sedation as a drug induced depression of consciousness during which
patients respond purposefully to verbal commands, either alone or accompanied by light
tactile stimulation.
We do not have large medical gas tanks nor piping in our suite, just mobile medical gas
carts with small portable tanks on it.
