Changes to Specification Sections: 1. SECTION 08 7000—DOOR HARDWARE: a. Add Locking Floor Plan per attached page. i. Identifies doors'A'through 'F'. b. Add Locking Plan/Sequence of Operations for'OB Mode' per attached pages. i. Note: in 'OB Mode', patient rooms 8, 9, and 10 will be utilized as part of the Women's and Children's Center. c. Add Locking Plan/Sequence of Operations for'Patient Care Unit Mode' per attached pages. i. Note: in 'Patient Care Unit Mode', patient rooms 8,9, and 10 will be utilized for general Patient Care(separate from the WCC). d. Add Hardware Revisions for Doors according to last of the attached pages. A‘ L, • 1 _ N li 1-- ..1` o 44j, #J3.r'i 1_ VVMC Women's and Children's Center (WCC): Locking Plan and Sequence of Operations Sept 23, 2014 Doors Legend Door A= Main Entrance to WCC(Double doors at nurse's station) Door B= Emergency Exit at the end of main WCC hall (next to Room 7) Door C(aka 299) = New Double Doors between rooms 10& 11 (divider for when conversion is made) Door D (aka 296) = Emergency exit at the end of back hall (next to Room 8) Door E (aka 297) = Back door to Nursery Door.F(aka 298) = Door in small hallway between front hall and back hall Security and Door Mgmt for WCC when Rooms 8, 9, & 10 are used in "OB Mode": Door A: • Locked with badge access to enter. • Unlocked to exit. • Visitors ring to enter--OB staff view visitors via camera and are able to question visitors via telecom; or staff can unlock to allow access, and question visitors upon entry to unit. • Hugs system is installed to include locking and alarms when tag is close to door—if fire alarm coincides with tag proximity, then doors will become locked for only 15 seconds. • If there is sprinkler flow or smoke detection activation,then doors will simultaneously unlock. • Security camera Door B: • Locked to enter. • Unlocked to exit. • Alarmed—alarms when anyone attempts to exit • Hugs system is installed to include locking and alarms when tag is close to door—if fire alarm coincides with tag proximity,then doors will become locked for only 15 seconds. • If there is sprinkler flow or smoke detection activation, then doors will simultaneously unlock. • Security camera. Doors C, D, and F Hardware Revisions Opening 299(the opening that has the"C" mark)shall stay in group 16, as specified. • Revise number of Magnetic Locks from 1 to 2 (Owner provided). • Revise operator actuation from wall actuators to Badge Access Keypads(Owner provided) Opening 296(the opening that has the letter"D"mark)shall stay in group 17, as specified.The group shall change as follows: • Add (1)each Von Duprin EL RX 98L-F x 996L 48" US26D Exit Device (replaces existing) • Add (1)each Schlage 20-022 626 Rim Cylinder • Add (1)each LCN 9542 Senior Swing Automatic Operator • Add (2)each LCN 8310-856T Wall Actuators • Balance of existing hardware to remain Also, add one 3"x 33" tempered glass Vision Panel to existing wood door leaf at this opening. Opening 298(the opening that has the letter"F" mark) hardware shall change as follows: • Add Magnetic Lock(Owner Provided) • Add 2 Badge Access Keypads (Owner provided)
