This CCD forms a part of the Contract Documents and modifies the original Construction Documents dated July 28, 2014, as noted below.
Changes to Specification Sections:
SECTION 22 6000 – GAS AND VACUUM SYSTEMS FOR LABORATORY AND HEALTHCARE: Added sub-section 2.10 specifying bulk nitrous Oxide system.
SECTION 23 0993 – SEQUENCE OF OPERATION FOR HVAC CONTROLS: Added sequences for Unit Heaters (3.1.D) and Terminal Boxes (3.2)
SECTION 23 3600 – AIR TERMINAL UNITS: Added specification section.
SECTION 23 8000 – DECENTRALIZED HVAC EQUIPMENT: Added Unit Heaters, sub-sections 2.1.A.4, 2.5, and 2.6.
Changes to Drawings:
M102 – SECOND FLOOR HVAC DEMO PLAN:
Added additional existing FCU to be demolished at C/L 2/F.
Added additional demo scope at the (2) added Temp ICU Rooms.
M202 – SECOND FLOOR HVAC PIPING DEMO PLAN:
Added additional existing FCU to be demolished at C/L 2/F.
Added additional demo scope at the (2) added Temp ICU Rooms.
Added additional demo scope of duct heating coil near CTS-257.
M302 – SECOND FLOOR HVAC PLAN:
Removed duct heating coils and replaced with terminal boxes with reheat coils per owner comment. Additional heating coil locations were added.
Revised ductwork serving temp. ICU 216, 217, 218, and 219 due to additional temp. ICU room scope and owner comments.
Relocated humidifiers H-3 and H-4 to adjacent storage room.
Revised ductwork at Nourish 263, Linen 264, and Soiled Utility 265 per architectural revisions.
Revised ductwork design at Mechanical 273 due to addition of medical gas manifold room and related architectural revisions.
Relocated OA louver to column intersection A/6 to satisfy code requirements due to new medical gas manifold room.
Added unit heater and high/low louvers at medical gas manifold room.
M402 – SECOND FLOOR HVAC PIPING PLAN:
Removed duct heating coils and replaced with terminal boxes with reheat coils per owner comment. Additional heating coil locations were added. Heating water piping was added to serve
additional coils.
Relocated thermostats in Patient room 209 & 210.
Relocated humidifiers H-3 and H-4 to adjacent storage room.
Indicated FCU thermostats at Ped/Obs 201 & 202.
Indicated thermostat for terminal box serving Ped/Obs 201 & 202.
Revised DX piping routing for AC-1 & AC-2.
Revised piping design at Mechanical 273 due to addition of medical gas manifold room and related architectural revisions.
Added unit heater at medical gas manifold room.

Revised DX piping routing.
M701 – MECHANICAL SCHEDULES:
Rescheduled humidifier H-3 to a larger capacity due to additional temp. ICU room scope.
Removed duct heating coil schedule.

Revised air device schedule frame note.

Removed duct heating coil installation detail.
Added hot water reheat coil piping detail.

P101 – FIRST FLOOR PLUMBING DEMOLITION PLAN:
Added additional demolition scope of waste piping at column intersection A/8.
P201 – FIRST FLOOR PLUMBING PLAN:
Revised piping serving level 2 fixtures at multiple locations as a result of architectural changes.
Added domestic hot recirculation piping at column intersection D/4 serving level 2 fixtures.
P202 – SECOND FLOOR PLUMBING PLAN:
Revised piping serving level 2 fixtures at multiple locations as a result of architectural changes.
Added domestic hot recirculation piping at column intersection E.3/1X.5 serving level 2 fixtures.
Added domestic hot recirculation piping at column intersection D/4 serving level 2 fixtures.
Added domestic hot recirculation piping at Ped/CathExam 220 serving L-4.
Added ASSE 1070 tempering valve keynote at Public Toilet 269.
Added requirement for sidewall sprinkler head under fire protection notes.
Relocated floor sink in mechanical room 273 due to architectural changes.
Moved humidifiers from Mech 275 to Storage 262 and added drainage piping back to floor drain in Mech 275.

Added additional demolition scope at rooms 216, 217, 218, 219, 223, and 224.
P402 – SECOND FLOOR MEDICAL GAS PLAN:
Revised headwall connections and medical gas outlets.
Added medical gas outlet scope at rooms 218, 219, 223 and 224.
Added medical air piping to rooms 209 & 210.
Removed boom connection from Cath Lab and placed gases on North Wall.
Removed previous N20 piping connection to existing (no longer exists).
Added N20 manifold and piping.
Added Note 9 indicating connection of Nitrogen piping on 3rd floor.
E001 – ELECTRICAL LEGENDS AND SCHEDULES:
Specified luminaire type T1.
Added luminaire type S3.
Added unit heater UH-201.
Modified requirements for humidifiers.
E002 – SECOND FLOOR ELECTRICAL DEMOLITION PLAN:
Added demo of fan coil units in office area and patient rooms 216, 217, 218 & 219.
Added demo of two existing fire smoke dampers.
Clarified keynote 2.
E102 – SECOND FLOOR LIGHTING PLAN:
Removed one wall sconce from patient rooms 209 & 210.
Moved one wall sconce in patient rooms 201 & 202.
Added downlight in bathrooms of patient rooms 209 & 210.
Added light switches on each side of beds in patient rooms 201, 202, 209 & 210.

Added speaker/strobe in elevator lobby.
Rearranged misc. fire alarm devices to accommodate wall changes.
E402 – SECOND FLOOR ENLARGED POWER PLAN:
Added power to boom.
Changed power on west side to critical instead of isolated power.
E601 – PARTIAL ELECTRICAL ONE-LINE DIAGRAM:
Moved 600A circuit breaker to existing space instead of providing a new device.
