In response to your request of October 23, 2018, Martin/Martin, Inc., as Structural Engineers-of-Record for
the referenced project, state as follows:
1. To the best of our professional knowledge, belief and opinion,the design of all structural features of the
project shoring/foundation elements are in accordance with applicable building codes and ordinances to
the extent that they apply to Schnabel's portion of the work.
2. Schnabel's revised calculations for the low grout compressive strength breaks indicate a suitable design
in accordance with the project parameters.
3. Our opinion is augmented by Schnabel's low grout compressive strength acceptance letter addressed to
Justin Fahnestock with Haselden Construction dated October 19, 2018.
