Permanent Soil Nail Wall
This revision is to show that the low grout compressive strength results for micropiles are
acceptable. The lowest grout strength for each design scenario was used for acceptance
for all other test results. For the 160-kip design load, at 3,200 psi grout strength, the
micropile capacity is 164 kips. For the 50-kip design load, at 4,890 psi grout strength,the
micropile capacity is 110 kips.
These revisions are in addition to the original calculations. See original design submittal
for additional information.
