GENERAL NOTES
EXISTING SYSTEMS, LIFE SAFETY FEATURES, ETC., ARE TO REMAIN
OPERATIONAL DURING ALL HOURS OF THE DAY. REGULAR
CONSTRUCTION WORK HOURS ARE FROM 7:00 AM AND 5:30 PM. ALL
SHUT DOWNS OR MODIFICATIONS WILL BE COMPLETED PER MOP
COORDINATION PROCESSES. ADDITIONALLY, NO SYSTEM IS TO BE
SHUT DOWN WITHOUT FIRST COORDINATING WITH VVMC AND
OBTAINING AN APPROVED METHOD OF PROCEDURE.

EQUIPMENT AHEAD OF DEMOLITION WORK.
PROVIDE COORDINATION WALK WITH OWNER AND ARCHITECT TO
CONFIRM ALL BACK BOXES AND WALL DEVICE LOCATION BEFORE
DRYWALL INSTALLATION.
WHEN ITEM NOTED TO BE DEMOLISHED, ENTIRETY OF ITEM TO BE
DEMOLISHED. ABANDON IN PLACE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.
CONTRACTOR IS ULTIMATELY RESPONSIBILE FOR ALL DEMOLITION
AND PREPARTIONS REQUIRED FOR FINAL CONSTRUCTION,
INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CORING, TRENCHING, AND FINISH
MODIFICATIONS
PROVIDE METAL TRIM AT ALL EXPOSED CORNERS AT TILE
LOCATIONS.
SURFACE MOUNTED DEVICES TO BE LOCATED SUCH THAT THEY DO
NOT SPAN BETWEEN SURFACES OF VARYING DEPTH. SURFACE
MOUNTED DEVICES SHALL BE SCRIBED INTO THE SURFACE
MATERIAL WITH THE GREATEST DISTANCE FROM THE WALL.
