CONDITIONS AND NOTIFY ENGINEER OF ANY DISCREPANCIES FOR
RESOLUTION.
ALL ITEMS IDENTIFIED TO BE REMOVED SHALL BE REMOVED IN THEIR
ENTIRETY UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. REMOVED ITEMS SHALL BE TURNED
OVER TO THE OWNER UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED AND STORED IN THE AREA
DESIGNATED BY THE OWNER. REMOVE FROM SITE AND LEGALLY DISPOSE OF
ALL ITEMS THE OWNER CHOOSES NOT TO ACCEPT.
WHERE EXISTING PIPING, T.C. TUBING/WIRING ETC. ARE TO BE REMOVED
FROM WALLS WHICH ARE REMAINING, THE WALLS SHALL BE REPAIRED TO
MATCH ORIGINAL CONDITIONS.
WHERE EXISTING PIPING TO BE REMOVED PASSES THROUGH FLOORS, THEY
SHALL BE CUT BACK TO WITHIN CONCRETE AND FILLED WITH GROUT TO
ACHIEVE A SMOOTH AND EVEN FINISH WITH CONCRETE SURFACE.
EXISTING VAV BOXES INDICATED AS TO BE REMOVED BOTH ON THE PLANS
AND ON THE EXISTING VAV BOX SCHEDULE ARE TO BE REMOVED BACK TO
THE MEDIUM PRESSURE MAIN.

ALL SUPPLY AIR DIFFUSERS ARE 4-WAY AIR PATTERN UNLESS SHOWN
OTHERWISE.
DUCT SIZE OF BRANCH DUCT TO AIR DEVICE SHALL BE THE SAME SIZE AS
NECK SIZE OF AIR DEVICE UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE.
ALL HEATING WATER SUPPLY AND RETURN BRANCH PIPING TO TERMINAL
BOXES SHALL BE 3/4" UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE. ALL PIPING TAKE-OFFS
FROM MAINS SHALL BE TOP TAKE-OFFS WITH SWING JOINTS.
BRANCH DUCT SIZE TO INLET OF ALL TERMINAL BOXES SHALL BE THE SAME
SIZE AS THE INLET SCHEDULED UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE. BRANCH DUCTS
TO TERMINAL BOXES EXCEEDING 15' OR TWO ELBOWS, SHALL BE UP-SIZED
TO NEXT STANDARD DIAMETER.
UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, ALL SUPPLY AIR DUCTWORK SHALL BE
EXTERNALLY WRAPPED TO THICKNESS AS STATED IN SPECIFICATIONS.
RETURN AND EXHAUST DUCTWORK IS NEITHER LINED NOR WRAPPED.
PROVIDE ROOM AIR BALANCE TO ACHIEVE POSITIVE (+) OR NEGATIVE (-) AT
THE DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE INDICATED ON THE DRAWINGS.
PROVIDE EOMD AT ALL LOW POINTS FOR STEAM SUPPLY PIPING AS
REQUIRED WHICH MAY NOT NECESSARILY BE SHOWN.
ALL BRANCH STEAM SUPPLY AND CONDENSATE RETURN PIPING FROM MAINS
SHALL BE TOP TAKE-OFFS WITH SWING JOINTS.
PROVIDE MANUAL VOLUME DAMPER FOR ALL AIR DEVICES. SPIN-IN DAMPERS
ARE REQUIRED FOR LOW PRESSURE SUPPLY TAKEOFFS. REFER TO DETAILS.
