To whom it may concern,
Through this letter Vail Valley Medical Center(VVMC) would like to confirm to Davis Partnership that
there is no current use of refrigerated chemo medications by the In-Patient Pharmacy department
located on VVMC's main Vail campus. Nor does VVMC have a future intent to change this practice.
Should this strategy change, and a need arise for Inpatient Pharmacy to house chemo medications,
which require refrigeration, it is acknowledged that VVMC will need to provide a dedicated refrigerator
for the Chemo Room, for these medications, in line with the requirements of United States
Pharmacopeia (USP) Chapter<800> (or, meet adherence to the required codes and Pharmacy standards
that are in place at time of process change).
