Gentleman:
I don’t take lightly, the process of appealing Mike’s decision, and I believe my staging plan is a breath
away from 100% compliance. I understand Mike has a lot going on, but I never got a chance to
meet with him, and a brief meeting with him would have resolved the (single item) issue.
Mike says that he is booked solid until Monday. I believe that I can show compliance and want to sit
down with you, George, and Mike on Monday.
Before then I want to review the plan that Mike has redlined and define the solution. Can you get
me in today for early Friday for a quick review?
Randy

FYI: Mike’s response…I’m asking Brian to step in because Mike’s redlines don’t jive.

As you can see… but I know the codes and I know my site. I can easily achieve and overcome his
redline. Will you look at it with me real quick so we can show Mike that site can easily be made to
comply?

Greetings. I have reviewed the site plan. I do not agree with your assumptions regarding year round
accessibility by foot. The plan does not take into account the grade of topography. I have included
my red line comments on the site plan you submitted.
Based on observations on site and review of the site plan and in accordance with adopted codes, the
requirement to a install fire sprinkler system in this project is in effect. You of course have the
opportunity to appeal these findings to the board of appeals. If you need more information please
contact J.R. Mondragon regarding this process.
Thank you.

Good morning Mike:
As you know I need your approval for my project B16 0209 in projectdox before I can start. It’s not
your fault that it’s been 3 mos. since I applied for the building permit, but with that said, I tried to
provide a complete staging plan for you and one that’s easy to see the compliance items.
Please take a few minutes (if you haven’t already) to look it over to see if there is anything I may
have failed to show.
This is my own money and my families welfare depends on my eventual success. My project is
exposed and really suffering , so you can understand my persistence.
Sincerely,
Randy Fischer
