5. PROVIDE EDWARDS 7005-65 HOTEL ROOM ANNUNCIATOR KIT WITH ONE ADDITIONAL STROBE AT EACH BATHROOM IN HI ROOMS.

1. GUESTROOM FIRE ALARM (FA) ADDRESSABLE ANNUNCIATING DEVICES ARE CONNECTED TO EXISTING BUILDING FA PANEL IN THE HOTEL
LOBBY. THEY ARE ACTIVATED BY EXISTING HARD-WIRED SMOKE DETECTORS, FA PULL STATION AND OTHER EXISTING SIGNALING DEVICES
LOCATED IN GUEST BUILDING CORRIDORS AND STAIRWELLS.
2. GENERAL CONTRACTOR TO COORDINATE INSTALLATION OF NEW FA DEVICES WITH FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS VENDOR.
3. FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS VENDOR TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED BY LOCAL MUNICIPALITY / AUTHORITY HAVING
JURISDICTION (AHJ) PER PLAN AND SECURE REQUIRED FA PERMITS.
4. SMOKE DETECTORS:
A - REMOVE EXISTING BATTERY POWERED SMOKE DETECTOR (SD)
B - PROVIDE SDS WITH BATTERY BACK-UP (EXISTING SYSTEM COMPATIBLE) HARD-WIRED TO 120V POWER. SDS TO HAVE 520HZ, LOW
FREQUENCY SOUNDER BASE, WHERE REQUIRED BY JURISDICTION PER NFPA 72.
C - PROVIDE ADDITIONAL SDS DEVICES PER PLAN, INTER-CONNECTED TO PROVIDE NOTIFICATION THROUGHOUT GUESTROOM UNIT.
ALTERNATE: PROVIDE REMOTE FA STROBE & COMPONENTS PER SDS MFR. TO LINK REMOTE GUESTROOMS FS TO NEW GUESTROOM SDS.
(THESE ALTERNATE STROBE DEVICES ARE NOT TO BE CONNECTED TO BUILDING FIRE ALARM SYSTEM; THEY ARE PART OF LOCAL
GUESTROOM NOTIFICATION ONLY).
5. ADDRESSABLE ANNUNCIATING DEVICES:
A - DISCONNECT & REMOVE EXISTING ADDRESSABLE FA HORN DEVICES.
B - PROVIDE ADDRESSABLE FA HORN-STROBE THAT IS COMPATIBLE WITH EXISTING BUILDING FIRE ALARM SYSTEM
C - PROVIDE REMOTE FA STROBE DEVICE PER PLAN, CONNECTED TO BUILDING FA SYSTEM THROUGH ORIGINAL FA HORN DEVICE WIRING
