According to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and the Environmental Protection Agency's Regulation No.8, Section III — Project Requirements Part B., asbestos testing and abatement shall be performed, when the situations listed below are expected to occur. The structures/components to be disturbed must be inspected for asbestos by a state-certified asbestos inspector. If the amount of asbestos-containing material to be disturbed exceeds the following trigger levels then an abatement contractor must remove the material. I read the code to say that galleries are e�cempt from the lighting code. The local eletrical inspector is telling me that only galleries that don't offer �erns for sale are exempt. The way to code is written, I cannot operate gallery within the lighting code - the display would be extremely poor. Additionally, I opened a gallery in Aspen, Colorado last year and the inspector there a�,C,00wed the gallery exemption. Q�ease clarify ASAP if the gallery exemption applies to my situation.
