TNTRODUCTION:
On September 10, 2018 an inspectio#$urvey was csnducted and 3
bulk samples were cerllected *om:
Montaneros Csndo.
684 W. Lionshead Cr. Unit # 2A2
Vail, Co.
The purpose of the inspection/suryey was to locate and sample
suspected Asbestos cantaining materials that might be present in the area of
the Unit # 202 that is planned for selective interior renovation.
The inspection was made, and the sanrples rvere collected by John R.
Ps,terman, an A.H.H.R.A. arrd $tate of Colorado Certified Asbestos
Inspector. Great care was taken during the inspection and sampling to be as
accurate as possible. It should be noted that minimal damage was done to
the existi:rg building strucfur€s during the inspection so there is no
documentation fur un$een conditisns or stored items.
A11*ample$ wsrs analyzed by DCM $cience Lab in Wheat Ridge,
CO. This laboratory is deemed "Proficient" in the 8.P.,4,. Quality Assurance
{QA} prsgram for the deterrlrination of asbestos in bulk materials, and is
acere.dit*d by the American Hygiene Assaciation (AHA).
SAMFLING PROTOCOLT
A r**dom sampliry scheme was used t* sarnple the suspect materials that
were discovered. If during any furure demolition or renovation work,
suqpectmaterial is discovered tlut hasn't been sampled and would be
disturbed" wotk shculd be h*lted until the material has been tested.

The srea of the unit that is planned fur rensvation is in the bathnram and
hallway by the entrf ares of the unit. The interior walls are covered in
sheetrock with a troweled texture. Tbe ceiling is covered with sheetrock like
the walls. The floor is covered in carpet and ceramic tiles. The ceramic tiles
will remain in place and wsrp not tested.
