BUILDING PERMIT ISSUANCE TIME FRAME
If this permit requires a Town of Vail Fire Department Approval, Enginee/s (Public Works)
review and approval, a Planning Departrnent review or Health Department review, and a
reMew by the Building Department, the estimated time for a total review may take up to
six (6) weeks.
All commercial (large or small) and all mulU-family permits will have to follow the above
mentioned maximum requirements. Residential and small projects should take a lesser
amount of time. However, if residenUal or smaller projects impact the various above
mentioned departments with regard to necessary review, thee projects may take up to
six (6) weeks to review and approve.
Every attempt will be made by this department to expedite this permit as sq)n as
possible.
I, the undersigned, understand the plan check procedure and time frame. I also
understand that if the permit is not picked up by the expiration date, that I must still pay
the plan check fee and that if I fail to do so it may affect future permits that I apply for.

The Beam spans are approximately 35" and 45". The corresponding
skylight spans are approximately 31" and 41". These dj-mensions
should be verified prior to ordering the skylights.
There is no structural- compromlses involve if the skylight remain
inside of the parameters of the enc.losed sketch. If there are any
