I have decided to leave some of these really cool concrete walls exposed in my house. I changed some of
the framing and insulation. I removed the frame wall below grade in the following areas (SHOWN
BELOW) and moved the insulation to the outside of the FDN WALL to a R-15 foam board from R-15 batt
inside a frame wall inside the house. We are doing the waterproofing and insulation blue board with
the FDN drain starting tomorrow, and anticipate inspection around Tuesday next week. Should I open
the portal and submit this? Please guide me with the proper procedure for this change approval.
The easiest place to see this is on the floor plans, but I made the edits to the foundation details as well.
Change the insulation to the outside wall for the following areas to foam bd to a R-15.
1. 2nd Floor—outside Dining rm, entry and staircase wall
2. 1st Floor-outside master bath/master closet/master bedroom/staircase wall
3. Basement-Staircase wall/furnace room/bathroom
4. Shown on sheet S1A fdn details 5,6,7,13/S1A.
