Remove entry horn strobe from system due to new room layout and having efficient coverage with secondary existing horn strobe. 3. Create splice box in water closet above ceiling per General Contractor 4. Rough in wire to new CO detector per NFPA code in the entry way of unit. 5. Set boxes into new ceiling grid. 6. Trim two smoke devices in entry and outside of west bedrooms after drywall and paint. 7. Trim one horn strobe in kitchen after drywall and paint. 8. Trim CO detector after drywall and paint. 9. Pull sensitivity and test all devices Operations: 1. The smoke detectors shall be local only and sound in tandem 2. The CO detector will be a latching supervisory 3. The Horn Strobe will be triggered by building general alarm. Notes: 1. The above components shall be tied into an existing Panel and Circuits. 2. All Horns shall be mounted on ceiling 3. Wiring for Horn circuits shall be run in 14/2awg FPLR fire wire. 4. Wiring for Addressable SLC circuits shall be run in 16/4 awg FPLR fire wire. 5. Two 16/4 awg FPLR fire wire risers shall be ran to each smoke detector in the living quarters. The up graded wiring shall accommodate the spring upgrade to fully addressable unit smoke detectorswith sounder bases. 6. All wiring will be run a min.of 6 inches fromAC power and cross AC power at right angles. 7. Smoke Detectors shall be located a min.of 3'from any air supply or return. 8. Finish trim of smoke detectors to be completed at the end of the final cleanup phase of construction just prior to occupancy. 9. All rough-in wiring shall be labeled at each device and junction. 10. All rough-in wiring shall be mounted to structural framing. 11. Any wiring below finished ceiling level shall be housed in rigid or flex EMT conduit where required by code.
