Code, 2003 International Fuel Gas Code, 2003 International Plumbing Code, 2003 International

Vail.

Plan review comments are based on limited information provided on cover sheet and plan sheet A-

Architectural Comments:
1 Include a complete means of egress plan showing occupant loads, exit widths, door sizes, common
path of egress travel and total travel distance to the exit discharge. IBC 106.1.2 IBC ch. 10
2 Include a reflected ceiling plan IBC 106.1.1
3 Include the building construction type per IBC ch. 6. on the plans. Town of Vail records show this
building as type II-A
4 Include a construction detail for new walls. IBC ch. 6
5 Clarify if portion of wall proposed to be removed is a fire resistive or structural wall. Provide
structural plans as necessary.
6 Provide a minimum 36" clear exit width between lockers and bench per IBC 1016.2
7 Show accessible bench and turning space per ANSI 117.1 1998 section 803
8 Include a complete list of proposed interior finish materials and flamespread index per IBC ch. 8
9 Show all door sizes. IBC ch. 10
10 Provide a minimum 18"x60" pull side clearance at door into the corridor area. ANSI 117.1 1998
section 404.2.4
Electrical Comments:
li Include an electrical power and lighting plan, panel schedule and load calculations. Plans must be
stamped and signed by a Colorado State Licensed Engineer
Mechanical Comments:
12 Provide a mechanical ventilation system for the proposed locker room complying with IMC table 403.3
Recirculation of air is not permitted in locker rooms. Include complete mechanical plans. Plans must
be stamped and signed by a Colorado State Licensed Engineer
