(adjacent facade/roof material color or flat black), or capable of weathering so as to be non-reflective

inspections.
- Approval of this project shall lapse and becomevoid one (1) year following the date of final approval, unless
a buildingpermit is issued and construction is commenced and is diligently pursued toward completion.
- Design Review Board approval does not constitute a permit for bu ilding.Please consultwith Town of Vail
buildingpersonnel prior to construction activities.

To Whom It May Concern;
We are submitting the above project for Design Review. It has gone through Design Review in the
past and was approved under DRB 16-0464. That application expired while the Owners found a
General Contractor and a cost estimate that were satisfactory. We are resubmitting so they can
possibly begin construction in 2019. Drawings dated 12.20.18 are included in this new submittal.
The scope of workforthis project is:
1) Remove existing siding&front entry porches
2) Remove existing balcony railings and privacy walls at rear.
3) Install new front entry porches as shown
4) Install new exteriorsiding,stone&stucco materials on façade.
5) Modify the front entry steps&deck as shown.
6) New exteriorlight fixtures.
The exterior design is almost entirely unchanged from the previous DR B approval except for the
following items:
1) The deck railing on the rearwill be a wood design in lieu of the metal design.
2) Continuous exteriorinsulation has been omitted, which revised the opening details slightly.
The changes to the drawings are clouded in the attached set.
No change to the existing GR FAfor this building is proposed. No changes to the existing parking or
driveways are proposed. A minor revision to lot coverage is proposed and has not changed since
the previous DRB/PEC approval.
