On December 13th J. Rene Enterprises, LLC, d /b /a The Original Palmos
Capuccino & Spirits filed an application for a 100% transfer of ownership of
a hotel and restaurant license held by Michaels II in the Gateway building.
A Temporary License was requested as of January 2, 1997, in order to
allow Palmos to do business while waiting for their meeting with the
Authority next month. The TOV sales tax department has informed me that
J. Rene Enterprises still owes sales tax on the purchase of the business
and has asked that as a condition of granting a temporary license, the new
business be required to settle any and all outstanding town business prior
to issuance. Huh yecfo cC4_-N sxzz' o f-t 6-u-4 w fiOV
