In December, the agency tightened up content for NYC media materials, secured media appointments, made arrangments with dinner locations, etc. The agency also started working on arrangements for the March media tour to Los Angeles. New York Media Mission Mia Vlaar, Kristin Yantis and Amanda McNally traveled to New York Jan. 14-17 for media visits. The group had appointments with more than 50 writers scheduled for their 2.5 days in the city. The trip included a lunch, a cocktail reception and numerous one-on-one appointments. Overall, the trip was incredibly successful with a number of leads generated for summer stories. Messaging that resnoated with writers includes:
• Four Seasons beer spa treatments
• Hiking with llamas
• Glamping

• Prepare all materials for the event and host media in Los Angeles March 5-8.
• Continue to tighten up “what’s new” message for summer 2019.
• Finalize themes and hotel partnerships for summer press trips. Begin outreach to secure attendance for summer press trips.
• Tighten up Families with Older Children influencer selections.
• Distribute general invite for summer, one-on-one media visits.
• Continue pitching “what’s new” message to targeted media.
