Created by former Fox Sports executive John C. Greenwood, the Denver-based company was named one of Entrepreneur magazine‟s “Hot 500” as one of the fastest-growing small businesses in the country. Most recently, Proxy was instrumental in the launch of Songtouch.com, creation of Frontier Airlines‟ inflight entertainment network and in the conception, development and launch of the Downtown Denver Theatre District (www.denvertheatredistrict.com ). Our team members are highlighted here: JOHN C. GREENWOOD FOUNDER/PRESIDENT John is the current Managing Member, President and Founder of Proxy Partners, LLC. His current duties include all day-to-day operations and strategic vision of the company. John worked at FOX Sports Net for seven years before founding Proxy. While at FOX, John was responsible for the initial development and consistent stewardship of many blue chip accounts including Qwest, Volvo and Taco Bell. Prior to FOX, John worked at Cellular One, Cummins Engine Company and Jones Intercable all in the fields of sales and marketing. John graduated from the University of Denver, earning a double major with honors in Public Policy and Speech Communications and then earned an MBA from the University of Colorado. TIM BROWN CHAIRMAN CHAIRMAN Tim is currently the Chairman of Radius Media Holdings, a collection of media and marketing companies comprised of NRC Broadcasting, Sign Language Marketing and Proxy Partners. He founded NRC Broadcasting in October 2001 and Sign Language Marketing in May 2008, and acquired Proxy Partners in November 2009. The collection of companies provides a broad stratum of marketing platforms that range from mass reach to targeted advertising messaging. Tim‟s previous experience is comprised of a sales management background in the high technology/telecommunications industry. Ten years of sales management experience was developed through established and start-up companies in Denver, Chicago and Sydney, Australia; inclusive of Cisco Systems, Alteon Web Systems (Nortel Networks), American Power Conversion and Xircom. DAVID EHRLICH EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, DENVER THEATRE DISTRICT David is the acting Executive Director for the Denver Theatre District as well as the Founder and Principal of FinWater Advisors, LLC, a sports and media operations and marketing consulting firm specializing in the creation of interactive media platforms. Previously, David founded Interactive Marketing & Innovation -a marketing and operations consulting company and was the Executive Vice President of The Bonham Group, a sports marketing company based in Englewood Colorado. For two years prior to joining the Bonham Group, David served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Kroenke Sports Enterprises (“KSE”), reporting directly to owner Stan Kroenke. David, a SportsBusiness Journal “40 under 40” award winner, oversaw the business operations and legal affairs of the KSE sports franchises and other properties. David‟s municipal experience includes representing the Cities of Broomfield Colorado, Allen Texas and Independence Missouri in connection with each City‟s construction of a multi-purpose events center. Ehrlich also served on the Denver Metro Convention and Visitor‟s Bureau for three years as well as the bureau‟s executive committee for a year. MALA ALVEY SALES DIRECTOR, MEDIA NETWORKS Mala has more than 15 years of successful sales experience working on behalf of Universities, non-profit organizations and municipalities. Before coming to work for Proxy in May 2005, Mala spent over a decade doing fundraising and sales for organizations such as California State University Fullerton, the University of Colorado Foundation, and the Denver Film Society. During her four and a half years with Proxy Partners, she Confidential Page 4 of 6 3/29/2010 has secured more than $5 million in corporate partnerships and media sales for Proxy‟s clients. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Colorado, Boulder. JILL DITHMER DIRECTOR, VALUATIONS AND PLACEMENTS Jill is the Director of Valuations and Partnerships for Proxy Partners. She oversees the valuation and strategy phase for all corporate consulting clients. Jill has worked for Proxy for seven years and is considered an expert in valuation, non-traditional media placements and events. She has conducted revenue generation analyses for a wide variety of Proxy clients including Intrawest Colorado, the Arabian Horse Association, the City and County of Denver, Belmar Shopping Center, Mile High Marketplace, Concerts For Kids and the Denver Merchandise Mart. Throughout her time at Proxy, Jill has also managed several events including the MS Tennis Classic and coordinated Field Marketing campaigns for Pepsi and Quiznos. She graduated from the University of Denver as a varsity tennis player and Marketing major. NICOLE BIENERT DIRECTOR, SPONSORSHIP SALES Nicole is responsible for the sponsorship development of Proxy Partner's clients including the City and County of Denver‟s Division of Theatres and Arenas and Mile High Marketplace. Nicole has over 10 years of sponsorship sales and service experience which includes working with some of Denver's premiere sports and entertainment properties. Before joining Proxy Partners in October 2009, Nicole served as the Senior Executive of Corporate Partnerships for the Denver Broncos Football Club. During her time at the Denver Broncos, Nicole secured over $5 million in sponsorship revenue with corporate partners such as GEICO, Chipotle, Red Robin, Safeway, Supercuts and United Airlines. Prior to her time at the Denver Broncos, Nicole oversaw the sponsorship sales for Kroenke Sports Enterprises (KSE) and Pepsi Center in Denver, CO. While at KSE, Nicole negotiated and closed new corporate sponsorships for five pro-sports teams including the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, Colorado Mammoth, Colorado Rapids, and the Colorado Crush as well as played a key role in opening Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, CO. During her tenure at KSE, Nicole was responsible for overseeing more than $7 million of annual sponsorship revenue. Nicole graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor's of Business Administration and a focus in Marketing. DAVE ROGERS CFO/COO/VICE CHAIRMAN CHRISTY MYERS CONTROLLER RACHEL SIPKIN MARKETING COORDINATOR Rachel is responsible for the event and marketing coordination of the Denver Theatre District, activation and fulfillment of all the corporate partners for the City of Denver‟s Division of Theatres and Arenas, as well as assistance to all other departments within Proxy. This includes assistance with valuation research and proposals, post analysis for all sales, and general company marketing efforts. Rachel graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology. ADDITIONALLY, Proxy has relationships with dozens of national and international independent contractors, agencies and associations to fulfill our obligations: media agencies, sales experts, street teams, digital gurus and social network and PR wizards – all calling Proxy their partner. Confidential Page 5 of 6 3/29/2010 What we can do for the Town of Vail RFP RESPONSE FOR INTERCEPT SURVEYS AT TOWN OF VAIL FUNDED SPECIAL EVENTS Presented to Sybill Navas, Special Events Coordinator SITUATION ANALYSIS The Town of Vail, Commission on Special Events, allocates approximately $789K annually to events throughout the Vail Valley. They are currently seeking the assistance of an agency to analyze a select number of partnerships through the use of Intercept Surveys and to provide a summary of the data collected. Proxy also recommends utilizing this agency to create a partnership marketing strategy and to place all key event sponsorships. Based on the above scope of work, we propose the following for the Town of Vail: We recommend that the Town of Vail retain a specialized agency to handle their event partnership planning/analysis, placement and execution. Proxy will use its 12 year experience of developing highly productive marketing partnerships for our brands and properties to create and execute a strategic event sponsorship and promotional calendar for the remainder of 2010 and all of 2011. The Town of Vail will have one point of contact for all partnership strategy, placements and activation. Included in this will be one of the following two options in addition to the services suggested in Section C: A. OPTION 1 For all events receiving allocations of $20,000 or more (20 events in 2010):  A statistically valid minimum number Intercept Surveys per event, with an option for the event producer to add 4 to 6 questions specific to their own event  Individual event report summarizing the data obtained  Summary report comparing the data from all events surveyed B. OPTION 2 The CSE will select 10 events that they feel would provide them with the most valuable information:  A statistically valid minimum number Intercept Surveys per event, with an option for the event producer to add 4 to 6 questions specific to their own event  Individual event report summarizing the data obtained  Summary report comparing the data from all events surveyed C. ADDITIONAL SERVICES Strategic Plan  A year-long strategic plan for the Town of Vail‟s partnership marketing budget insuring that the events funded provide a considerable cost-to-benefit ratio, offer significant partnership benefits and produce the greatest economic contributions Confidential Page 6 of 6 3/29/2010 Partnership Placements  Valuation, Management and Placement of strategic partnerships (including trade-outs of mutual assets) and promotions (street teams helping to promote tourism within the Town of Vail)  Placement includes partnership fee recommendations and negotiation with the ultimate goal of allocating available funds to events producing the most significant economic impact for the Town of Vail  Performance Management Review to insure that the Town of Vail maximizes their exposure and ROI in all event partnerships  Potential execution of utilizing the Town of Vail assets to offset costs and enhance exposure and results INVESTMENT Options 1 (A) OR Option 2 (B) AND Additional Services (C): 10%-15% commission on funds allocated to special events analyzed and placed by Proxy plus pre-approved reimbursable expenses. *Additionally, Proxy can assist in the valuation and sales of the Town of Vail‟s assets to generate additional revenue for the community. Our fee for this service will be a mutually agreed upon consulting fee plus 20% commission of all deals secured (all must be pre-approved by the Town of Vail sales staff) plus pre-approved expenses.
