CSE Proposal: “VAIL DOG FRIENDLINESS” EVENTS PROGRAM Colorado loves its dogs and Vail Restaurant Month welcomes them! Many people living in Denver and the Front Range are not aware that
Vail has numerous lodging properties and restaurants that are dog friendly, as well as a multitude of activities in and around Vail that are fantastic for outdoor activities for families
and their pets. Building new events and activities to drive this awareness of Vail as one of America's most dog-friendly destinations will result in significant dividends in terms of
Vail revenue – restaurant bookings, retail sales and heads in beds – for years to come. DETAILS: Since VRM's main priority is to fill heads in beds and drive a growth in revenue for
Vail restaurants and businesses, we would like to use the additional $5,000 to promote these rooms in several of our partners hotels: The Antlers, Sonnenalp, Arrabelle, Lodge at Vail
and Vail Mountain Lodge. In addition to dog friendly rooms, Vail Restaurant Month would like to work with these properties and other businesses in Vail to customize dog friendly events,
activities and seminars during the four weeks of Vail Restaurant Month. Additionally, we will promote healthy and entertaining experiences in Vail for dog owners such as hiking, running,
walking, and outdoor restaurant dining. Vail Restaurant Month will leverage our partnerships with The Denver Post, Denver Dumb Friends League, the Tattered Cover bookstore, and our themed
Facebook pages to create special messaging for the Denver and Front Range dog owners. This Dog-Friendly event series and campaign, supported by significiant PR and media outreach, will
generate a whole new channel of audience-building, encouraging familes with pets to visit beautiful Vail in the fall during Vail Restaurant Month. CONTACT: Ilene Rapkin, Greg Hittelman
