Suggestions for Improved Special Event Permitting Procedure:
• Editable PDF format
• Reduce Repetitive Information (attachments)
• “Denver” and Pitkin County Peer Review Process
• Registered, recurring permits save and used year to year, or revised
• Centralized Calendar
• Updated scaled maps and tent sit es
• Volunteer “bank;” (visitvailvalley.com)
• Master list of contacts to facilitate event production
• Place to hang posters for upcoming events
Suggested Venue Improvements:
• Additional Village Banner site
• Village -wide sound system w/power
• Permanent small stage
• Large Event venue development in LH (South of Skier Bridge)
• Centralized Calendar
• Updated, scaled maps: including tent sites, power availability, fire hydrants, sidewalks,
bathrooms/port -o -let sites, vehicle placement options
• Shared schematics between prod ucers
• Adequate power in Arrabelle, Ford Park
• Dumpster @ Front Door
• “Sunnyroller” Small solar trailer for power (Kristen -it’s in the works)
Ford Park Improvements:
• Lower Bench and East Parking lot : power, fencing, lighting, access, generator placement
• Event hosts/volunteers from TOV (JP)
• Additional Sand Courts (volleyball)
