Attendees, referred to as Activators, who are corporate leaders, visionaries, innovators, philanthropists and influencers, are invited because they have the ability, resources and desire, to generate new pathways for health and longevity. ForumX Talks, which were open to the public, was provided at no charge to the community.

What were the three best things about the forum, in your opinion?
Answer 1
• The people
• The level of personal connectivity to the presenters was
amazing.
• Sharing concepts and ideas
• New and fresh information
• Inside info on key topics/ learning
• Casual, informative speaker sessions.
• Quality of the information
• New information
• Quality of the presenters
• Variety of topics
• Meeting others with similar interests
Town of Vail 13
Answer 2
• The topics
• I really enjoyed the full schedule, but especially liked that there was still time allotted for group
discussions at meals.
• Meeting and making connections with similar like minds
• New approaches to getting out info to the public
• Personal interaction / relationship building
• Professional development with the different attendees.
• Group dynamics
• New connections
• Small setting
• Ability for dialogue
• Access to ongoing research
• The venue and feel of the conference
Answer 3
• The setting
• The energy was incredibly positive. I felt very comfortable expressing my thoughts to everyone.
• Everyone was very open and we were all working towards finding solutions
• Contacts
• Meals at the Sonnenalp
• Access to opinion leaders
• New friends
• Energy of the group
• Varied perspectives in activators and presenters
• Connections
• The concept of implementation/activation
Town of Vail 14
What did not work for you?
• It's difficult to commit the time.
• I know that generally it is thought to be a sign of someone who hasn't thought too critically
about something to not offer a criticism, but honestly, from my perspective there wasn't a
thing to criticize.
• Parking, got a little stressed with possibly being late, otherwise things were great!
• Can't think of a thing.
• The weekend dates.
• It was all good
• The speaker on the topic of purpose
• I would have liked to have understood the flexibility of people to participate fewer than all
three days, as I believe I could have drawn some powerful activators in were it not for the
full-time commitment described early on. That said, I see how, in a small group, people
coming and going can be disruptive.
• Only my personal scheduling conflicts
Are there other General Topics that you would like us to include?
• Perhaps someone who has studied what it takes to get over trauma. I think we all experience
trauma in our lives at some point and it forever alters our health and well-being, either for the
better or worse depending on the paths we chose to follow after that event.
• Return to life and lessons learned/best practices for returning i ndividuals to a full healthy life
After successfully overcoming a major health complication. How do we return someone to life
where they are healthy and happy, what are the best practices and how can we improve the
quality of car to promote active lifestyles after surviving a major health complication.
• Cognitive health is also a very good topic as well.
• Dementia, cognitive health, facility design and visions for the older generation. Teaching
methods for younger generations, PTSD
• Perhaps there could a session on suggestions on how to reduce stress
• I like the cognitive health idea, end of life issues for individuals and families, health policy and
how it will change the health landscape, health delivery in community, and health as key
industry in our economy.
• Exercise for elderly, cognitive education/research, more about diet/food

Comments on facilities and accommodations.
• Excellent venue and perfect weather
• Just incredible all the way around.
• Meeting facilities and meals were fantastic, thank you!
• If we are talking about concerns for worldwide health it seems ironic to be meeting in such a
High class hotel - unless they are contributing SUBSTANTIAL amounts to the conference –
some rooms were really not well suited for what we were doing.
• Comfortable and professional. Overall - Excellent.
• All were good
• The Sonnenalp is one of my favorite places on earth! Johannes offers and unparalleled
experience.
• I also appreciated the creativity with which you planned the evening at the private home.
What a wonderful way to leverage partnerships. An unforgettable evening.
Considering your work and time constraints, what do you feel would be the best way for the
participants to stay connected and engaged with each other?
• LinkedIn Forums; blogs
• Email is probably best.
• Online updates work well, emails - maybe a Skype conference?
• Email, reunions
• Casual get togethers during the next 12 months in common locations.
• Perhaps a quarterly (electronic) newsletter.
• I think people will naturally gravitate toward reaching out to the folks they want to remain
connected to.
• Share email addresses and phone numbers. Or perhaps, A Living Well portal.
• Email or maybe ongoing (rare) relevant blogs/updates
Additional comments:
• I missed a few sessions. Would like to integrate exercise into the agenda
• Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart. This was a life experience that I will never
forget. You've inspired me to begin a Veteran retreat based off of your model (I hope its okay
that I'm stealing your idea). You all are some of the most wonderful people I have ever met.
Thank you again! -Braxton
• Thanks, looking forward to next year. Please stay in touch.
• Wonderful event - very inspiring. Sure don't want it to stop now - we must keep it going.
• Thank you John and Jamie, for an AMAZING experience!
