Standard of excellence met by:
•The Vail FIS Freestyle Noram Cup had athletes come here to compete
from eight different nations. Ski & Snowboard Club Vail has raised the
bar for other host resorts/clubs by not charging an entry fee or lift tickets.
SSCV believes that athletes at this caliber should not need to pay for
competition.
Event Strengths & Weaknesses
4 Town of Vail | CSE | 12/15/11(presentation date)
Exceeded expectations: We continually run seamless events from start
to finish that visiting teams are very thankful. Overall we were able
to put on a great event despite some snow conditions prior to the
event. For our first year hosting this event, it was well received in
the Freestyle Community.
Measures that could be taken for event improvement: This event takes
a great deal of manpower to run and with the help of more
volunteers, there would be less stress on a small group of
individuals.
