The Institute is exploring the ability to partner vs. compete directly with traditional executive MBA programs. By offering Vail as a unique campus to start and finish an Executive Level Program, will bring great “content” and speakers to the Valley through a program like this, and also bring in a specified number of visitors per class. This program has long-term implications by serving as a platform to develop further educational partners and solidify the Institute as a national player in Leadership Development. The Institute is currently in early discussions with Northwestern University and Cornell University about a joint venture to offer the Institute’s Leadership Curriculum through a potential dual certificate with the colleges. These partnerships would also create Annual Events based in Vail for the Alumni of the colleges. Near lake Tahoe there is a location that is a summer destination called “Stanford Camp” located on Fallen Leaf Lake. This concept would be to develop Vail as this destination for other alumni organizations. The funding request for this program is not tied to a specific event date, but rather the development of the marketing tools to fully market this partnership opportunity within the networks of our partner organizations in the 2nd half of 2014 in hopes of secure longer-term partnerships. A representative from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Business will be visiting Vail in June of 2014 to meet with the Institute to discuss collaborative options. 2.
