Vail Valor Races: May 24-25 Speckled Hound Racing 2 Town of Vail | CSE | 5/6/15 Tier: C Funded: $10K Days out: 18 Highlights: •Consistent Branding •Digital Marketing Focus •Boosted FB Post: Reached over 100,000 people, generated 1,529 likes,1,369 people clicked to enlarge the photo and 128 people visited the race registration page Go Pro Mountain Games: June 4-7 Vail Valley Foundation 4 Town of Vail | CSE | 5/6/15 Tier: 1-A Funded: $85K Days out: 28 Highlights/Tactics: •Implement new events – Disc Golf, Ultimate River Challenge •Establish benchmarking report to gauge traffic, registrations, social appeal and overall interest •Develop Mountain Games sponsor toolkit •Proactive outreach with relevant print & digital media •Better communicate TV /webcast schedules •Shift website digital strategy to showcase more GoPro content •Expand FB promoted posts and Instagram to be a year-round strategy •Develop Google PPC strategy & campaigns •Content management focusing on increased photography/video, athletes/participants, dogs, music, art and unique mountain lifestyle/experiences – year-round focus & calendar •Create 3 mountain ambassador programs •Build programs for hospitality packages and retail activation
