OVERVIEW
Vail Snow Daze, the annual early-season kickoff to Vail’s winter season is
returning for its eighth year. One weekend packed full of celebration for
all ages, and best of all, it’s free! Coined as North America’s largest early-
season kickoff bash, Vail Snow Daze features three full days of on- and off-
mountain action, topped with two packed nights of national headliner
concerts and parties. Everything about this celebration is built to engage
guests so they can fully experience and enjoy everything Vail has to offer,
including but not limited to, world -class skiing, dining, shopping, and
nightlife. Vail Snow Daze provides first-rate entertainment that’s equal to
Vail’s mountain experience. This is not just a celebration of the upcoming
winter season but also a celebration of all things Vail.

HEADLINER CONCERTS
What better way to kickoff the winter
season than with free concerts! Vail’s
Solaris turns into the epicenter of the party
with two packed nights of national
headliner concerts. Past performers have
included Michael Franti & Spearhead,
Wilco, Rusted Root, O.A.R., Train, The Fray
and Barenaked Ladies to name a few.

OVERVIEW
Vail gets hit with a spicy taste of New-Orleans-style fun when CarniVail
returns to Vail, February 6th - 9th, 2016. Guests will enjoy Mardi Gras
merriment and all the Cajun fixin’s from a legendary crawfish boil to the
Fat Tuesday Parade and Street Festival. CarniVail is certain to be the
ultimate Mardi Gras celebration at 8,150’. With a full lineup of activities
including on-mountain crawfish boils, non-stop Cajun Après and After-Dark
parties, Fat Tuesday Parade and street festival, fun contests, prizes and
giveaways, and much more, CarniVail is one celebration not to be missed.

Bridge Street transforms into Bourbon
Street, playing host to the Fat Tuesday
Parade & Street Festival, overtaken with
festive parade floats, costumes, beads,
music, Cajun cuisine, giveaways and
much more. And in holding to New
Orleans tradition, the parade will
conclude with the official crowning of
the CarniVail King and Queen.

WORLD’S HIGHEST CRAWFISH BOIL
Set at an elevation over 11,000’ above
sea level, CarniVail’s Crawfish Boil is
certain to be the highest in the world.
Guests are invited to enjoy this legendary
spread featuring Cajun and Creole cuisine
like crawfish etouffee, gumbo, king cake
and plenty of libations. And of course the
celebration is not complete without plenty
of beads and live music.
SPIRITED CONTESTS
Everyone is encouraged to show their spirit
at CarniVail. Anyone can join in the fun
and celebration and all are encouraged!
Their will be plenty of light-hearted
contests for guests to participate in to win
great prizes! Contest include the best
parade floats, the most extravagant
costumes, and a King Crab Eating contest.
CAJUN APRES & AFTER-DARK PARTIES
The Cajun entertainment is turned up
each afternoon and into the late
evening throughout both Vail and
Lionshead Villages. Plenty of Cajun
cuisine served up with drink specials,
giveaways, live music and much more.

SEVEN BITES. SEVEN SIPS. WELCOME RECEPTION
Serving as the official welcoming reception, Seven
Bites. Seven Sips. is certain to set the tone for the
weekend. Guests will enjoy a sampling of culinary
excellence from seven of Vail’s award winning
chefs. In addition, each chef will perfectly pair
their plate with one of Colorado’s own craft beers,
craft spirits, or wines making certain that no
palette is left unsatisfied.
SEVEN WONDERS OF VAIL CHALLENGE
Those who wish to challenge themselves and
others for a chance to win one of seven Epic
Passes and more importantly the bragging rights,
can sign-up to participate in the Seven Wonders of
Vail Challenge. Participants will ski / snowboard all
seven of Vail’s legendary Back Bowls, spanning
across seven miles, in an attempt to clock the most
vertical per bowl, per day. Friday (Sun Up and Sun
Down Bowls), Saturday (China and Siberia Bowls),
and Sunday (Teacup Bowl).
CAMP SEVEN WONDERS
Friday, Saturday and Sunday, guests make Camp
Seven Wonders their on-mountain oasis. Each day,
Camp Seven Wonders will be set-up at the base of
that day’s featured bowl(s). Camp Seven Wonders
will serve as the on-mountain refueling station with
a healthy lunch, power snacks and refreshments.
In addition, guests are invited to relax and
regroup while cheering on the Seven Wonders of
Vail Challenge participants.

SMALL GROUP HEALTH & WELLNESS SESSIONS
There is no better way to wake up and prepare
the body for the day ahead than taking
advantage of small group health & wellness
programming. From yoga to trail running,
specialist will be on-hand each morning to lead
small group sessions.
CONCEIRGE BASE CAMP
Base Camp for the group will be at the base of
Vail Mountain and will be serviced by a
concierge staff that will be personally assigned
to each guest. The Concierge Base Camp is
open first thing each morning to allow ample
time to enjoy a continental breakfast, discuss
your day’s plan with your concierge and get
ready for that days selected activity. Base Camp
closes an hour after the lifts close to give you
ample time to change out of your boots and
head over to Après!
VAIL SEVENS
With seven world class daytime activities to
choose from, guests have the opportunity to
experience Vail in more ways than one. Guests
can choose as many as they wish during their
stay. The line-up of Vail Sevens includes ski /
snowboarding, snowshoeing, cross-country
skiing, spa treatment, seminars (cooking / wine /
art), shopping and sightseeing. All activities have
hosts for guided tours where requested.

OVERVIEW
Spring Back to Vail, the annual spring bash celebrating the close of the
winter season, returns to Vail for its thirteenth year. In 2016, SB2V will pack
all its power into a one-day, closing day event. This unique event is aimed
to create a positive and long-lasting memorable experience for guests
which is accomplished through a jam-packed day of action including the
World Pond Skimming Championships, live DJ, sponsor Expo Village, on-
mountain Luau, giveaways, and much more!
WORLD PONDSKIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS
A closing day tradition where 100+ participants
dressed in costume attempt to skim across the
icy waters at the base of Golden Peak. The
spectacle defies the laws of physics and
common sense. Judged not only on their
distance but style, creativity and water
resistance, competitors have a chance to win
an Epic Pass as well as many other prizes from
sponsors like Helly Hansen, Red Bull, GoPro,
Liberty Skis and more.
