Thank
you
for
helping
us
make
Vail
Holidaze
an
amazing
event
held
through
town.
We
began
with
the
Lantern
making
at
local
schools
and
workshops,
ice
sculpture
display
at
Solaris
and
in
Slifer
Square,
skaBng
with
Vail
SkaBng
Club,
decoraBng
cookies,
the
Tree
lighBng
and
ending
with
the
fireworks
display
in
Gold
Peak.
The
fesBviBes
within
Vail
gave
the
guests
visiBng
and
locals
a
chance
to
come
to
town
to
celebrate
the
Holiday
season.
Strengths
• Vail
Holidaze
had
a
huge
show
of
support
with
the
Paper
Lantern

and
the
interest
from
area
schools.
• The
Ice
sculptures
were
a
draw
for
pictures
and
brought
people
into
Solaris
to
see.
• Pictures
with
Santa
were
a
huge
hit
and
cookie
decoraBng
brought
people
into
the
plazas
in
both
Lionshead
and
Vail.
We
used
1300
cookies.
• The
Tree
lighBng
had
a
huge
crowd,
esBmated
to
be
1500

• We
were
put
in
same
guard
as
the
top
New

Firework
promoters
this
year
by
a
“celebrity”
in
town.
Weaknesses
• Sound
needs
to
be
even
louder
than
was
for
event.
• One
performer
for
enBre
event
or
two
with
one
starBng
as
guests
arrive.
• Revamp
the
script
for
2016.
• The
lantern
workshops
were
huge
successes
and
now
we
will
be
working
on
more
ways
to
get
them
to
the
Lantern
Walk
in
2016.
• Needs
to
be
warmer
for
the
fireworks!
