I. December 2015 Monthly Financial Report – Carlie Smith Town of Vail – see
packet for details.
End of year total fund balance is at $996,297, total expenses are three million
dollars and that is 37% of fund balance and ahead of budget. Not all expenses
are in yet so numbers might change. Final year-end to be shared in February.
II. Approval of December 27, 2015 Meeting Minutes Dawsey /Thurnauer – passed
unanimously
III. Cactus, Brand and Digital Presentations – see proposal for details
Team and agency were introduced. Joe Conrad, founder and CEO was introduced
and gave history of agency. It was noted that their proposal has been provided
to VLMD board and submitted questions have been answered. The team and
their individual roles were introduced. Mission was explained. Clientele was
described. Question and answer session about the management and
development of the account took place. Digital capabilities were introduced and
explained along with what team member’s role would be. Digital approach was
explained.
IV. Vladimir Jones, Brand and Digital Presentation - see slides for details
Team and agency were introduced. Background on industry knowledge was
given. Brand strength positioning integration plan was explained. A Vail video
was shown. Knowledge of consumer base was given. Background on agency and
Vail connection was explained. Timeline calendar was explained. Question and
answer session took place. Digital team members and roles were introduced.
Background knowledge on digital data and how it can best be strategically used
was explained. A video was shown to illustrate past ad campaigns. Questions
and answer session took place.
V. Greenhouse Partners Brand Presentation – see slides for details
Team and agency were introduced. Asset collection was presented. Senior level
experience was presented. The creative process was presented. Challenges and
opportunities were presented. Previous experience was presented. A video was
shown. Previous creative was presented. Success story creative and results were
presented. Question and answer session took place.

Caroline Watson was introduced along with agency and individuals and history.
Agency background was given. Digital ad spend budget breakdown was
presented. Creative solutions were presented. Target audience opportunities
were presented. Video opportunities were presented. Emerging technologies
were presented. Resources were explained. Question and answer session took
place.

and personalized story telling content was presented along with digital
storytelling examples. Data measurement tools and tactics were presented.
