•Direct response plan: direct mail to list trades, segmented direct mail and email
campaigns to previous buyers
•Increased investment in digital: data-driven display campaigns, Google grant adword

•Videographer-in-residence returns for the 2016 season to build engagement and
awareness of the festival

•Community outreach and e-blast to previous parade participants
went out on 4/1 and the response is strong.
•Parade participation press release - drafted and planned for distribution prior to Memorial Day
weekend.
•Grand Marshals - Vi and Byron Brown are confirmed.
•Theme - The Spirit of America - it could embody historical characters, moments, modern age
heroes, etc.
•The Event will collaborate again with the Town of Vail to include the full weekend of events for
the Holiday weekend as part of the official Event schedule. The event schedule release is
scheduled to go out the week of June 20th.
•Postering, bi-fold card distribution will be a key part of the community outreach as always.
•Partnership outreach continues and we are pleased to have a new partner on-board,
Supergoop! (Skin Care).
•Gallegos Corporation will be presenting the parade/providing awards again this year.
