It was the second year for our organizing committee so a few things they did the year before, they were able to replicate it this year.
Vail Brand CompatibilityThe Premier International Mountain Resort Community8•How did the event /program support the Vail Brand? As mentioned, SSCV has continually set the standard hosting events in the Rocky/Central Region. The club has been highly regarded to host the championships events numerous times. With high attention to detail and excellent committee, the event is best in its class. Brand Positioning:•Town of Vail: The Premier International Mountain Resort Community•Vail Mountain: Like nothing on earth
Community Contribution9•How did the event impact Vail’s sense of community?•This community was founded by skiing and ski racing. With keeping up with tradition, Ski & Snowboard Club Vail has a strong Alpine skiing program with 45 athletes that competed are youth of the Vail Valley. There is no other club that is as dominate and large as SSCV. •Showcasing the young USSA athletes achievement. Many athletes strive to achieve this level of athletic success. •These athletes look up to two Vail natives, Lindsey Vonn and Mikaela Shiffrin.
