•Rebuild of the Bravo! Vail website to a fully responsive, data-driven site, increase engagement,
drive conversions, and enhance user experience. Bravo team is tracking KPIs and optimizing the
site throughout this first season on-sale cycle.
•Hired a national arts specific publicist for the 30th Season to highlight some of the exciting new
initiatives – specifically the New Works project (Commissioning 5 new works for the 2017 season).
•Coverage in NY Times top classical festivals guide (only 10 across the country) & Chicago Tribune.
•Shifted a % of spend from print buy on the front range to digital buys with Denver Post and 5280.
•Direct mail to list trades, segmented direct mail, and email campaigns to previous buyers
•Continued investment in digital: data-driven display campaigns, Google adword build, targeted
Facebook promoted posts, pre-roll advertising
•Filmmaker in Residence returns for the 2017 season to continue creating content about the festival
and Vail, and build engagement and awareness of the festival
•Targeted Comcast cable buy on the front range

•Theme, America the Beautiful – will embody the historical, sentimental and physical aspects of beauty in
our country.
•Print ads with Vail Daily will begin on 6/17 and continue up to and throughout the event, with inclusion in
the 2017 Paradian publication.
•Radio advertising promos with KZYR The Zephyr are scheduled to run from 6/20-7/4.
•Collaboration with Town of Vail to include full weekend of events for the holiday as part of official schedule.
•The event schedule press release is scheduled to go out on 6/20.
•Grassroots marketing, including posters and bi-fold rack card distribution, will be a key part of the
community outreach.
•Partnership outreach continues and a new event partner, HealthONE, has joined for 2017.
•Gallegos Corporation will be presenting the parade/providing awards again this year.
•A press release announcing parade float winners, will be distributed the afternoon of 7/4/17.
•Parade Marshals have been confirmed – Bill and Sally Hanlon.
