The Board marks their calendars.  Molly informs the Board of Helen Heibert’s papermaking workshops this summer at the library. The Board is enthusiastic about her workshops, but thinks to have an additional one on Japanese papermaking could dilute the workshops already planned at the library.  Molly discusses the dates for the summer community exhibition at library. The exhibition will take place in the library’s community room from August 1 through September 1. The Board agrees that each person who submitted to the rotating art at the library will be allowed to have one work included in this group exhibition highlighting local talent. The next selection of Rotating Art is July 7. The selected work will be on view July 14 – October 13. During the collective exhibition at the library we will have a people’s choice award that will select the next work that will be on view above the fireplace from October 13 – January 13.  Molly confirms that the Colorado Loops by Yoshitomo Saito will be on view at the International Bridge June 18 – September 30. She asks the Board of interest in other engagements with the artist during exhibition? The Board directs Molly to inquire with the artist.  Molly informs the Board of a new Lionshead art tour day that she will be leading on August 7.
