HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-15 1967 Annual Budget~~ ~ ~ ~ ORDINANCE N0. 15 Series of 3966 AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR THE TOWN OF VAIL, COLORADO, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING ON THE 1ST DAY OF JANUARY, 1967, AND ENDING 0~1 DECEMBER 31, 1967, TsST?MATING THE AMOUNT OF MONEY NECESSARY TO BE RAISED BY TAXES BASED ON THE SAID BUDGET SO ADOPTED; AND SETTING FORTH THE TOTAL ESTIMATED EXPENDITURES FOR EACH FUND. WHEREAS, the Town Recorder designated to prepare the annual budget far the Town of Vail, Colorado, for the fiscal gear beginning January 1, 1967, and ending December 31, i9b7, has prepared said budget and submitted it to the Board of Trustees, and WHEREAS. the Board of Trustees held s public hearing on said budget on November 20, 1966. NOW, THEREFO~iE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARiI OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF VAIL, COLORADO, SECTION 1. That the estimated revenue for the various funds of the Town of Vail, Colorado is: General Fund From unappropriated surplus $ '0' From property taxes '0' From other revenue sources 104.415 Total General Fund $ 104.415 Capital Improvements Fund Frain other revenue sources $ 24,710 Total Capital Improvements S 24.710 ;• i i SECTION 2. That the estimated expenditures for each fund of the Town of Vail, Co~.orado are as follows: General Fund Capital Improvements Fund $ 104.415 $ 24.71U SECTION 3. That the budget for the Town of Vail, Colorado, for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1967, and ending December 31, 1967, as heretofore submitted to the Board of Trustees by the Town Recorder, and as changed and amended by said Board of Trustees be, and the same hereby is adopted and approved as the budget fox the Town of Vail for said fiscal year. SECTION 4. That the budget herein approved and adopted sha11 be signed by the Mayor and the Town Recorder, and made a part of the public xecords of the Town. SECTION 5. SAFETY CI.AUSL~ The FSoard of Trustees hereby finds, determines, and declares that this ordinance is necessary and proper to provide for the safety, preserve the health, promote the prosperity, 3rnprove the morals, order, comfort and convenience of the Town of Vaii and the inhabitants thereof. SECTION 6. EFFECTIVE DATE This ordinance shall be in full farce and effect within thirty days after its approval by the Board of Trustees and final publication as prescribed by law. SECTION 7. SEVERABILITY It is the intention of the Board of Trustees that this ordinance ar any part or provision thereof, shall be considered severable and, if any pro- vision of this ordinance or the application thereof to any person or circum- stance is held invalid, such invalidity shall net affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
