AN ORDIlVANCE AMENDING ORDIlVANCE NO. 1`7, SERIES OF
].966, MAKIIVG REMAINING ON PRNATE PROPERTY WHEN
REQUESTED TO LEAVE UNLAWFUL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF VAIL:
Section 1. Amendment.
That Section 2 of Article V of Ordinance No. 17, Series of 1,966,
entitled:
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLTSHIlVG CERTAIN ACTS, THIlVGS,
CONDITIONS AND USES AS OFFENSES AGAINST THE SAFETY,
HEALTH, PROSPERI'T`Y, MORALS, ORDER, COMFORT, AND
CONVENIENCE OF THE TOWN OF VAIL AND TI-lE INHABITANTS
THEREOF, DECLARIlVG THE SAME TO BE UNLAWFUL, AND
PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF.
is hereby amended to reac? as follows:
Section 2. TRESPASSING.
It shall be unlawful for any person to enter upon any property within
the Town of Vail owned or occupied by another without lawful. purpose,
or to loiter or wander thereon without lawful purpose, or to remain
upon any property within theTown of Vail ownecl by another after
having been requested to leave by the owner of such property or by
any person having charge of such property.
Section 2, Emeraencv.
The Board of Trustees finds and determines that the passage of this
Ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health
and safety of the inhabitants of the Town of Vail and that t1~is Ordinance shall
become effective Five {6) clays after publication.
